I seem to have a knack for solving a puzzle that has endless ways to capture a moment, but only a few that will give you “THE” shot, the one filled with exposed emotion. It is more than just snapping pictures and calling it a day. It’s so much more than that. It becomes personal. My work is a reflection of my passion. I take my passion seriously, but also make it fun at the same time. Whether it’s an outdoor shoot with natural lighting or an indoor shoot with fancy lights and a backdrop, I love finding the very best moment. That’s when I capture unforgettable memories that only happen once. When you look back at it, I want you to relive that moment and feel that emotion once again. Being able to have the gift to do that is a feeling I can’t describe.

It’s very important to engage the person or object I’m photographing beforehand.

It’s important for everyone to be comfortable in order to be able to capture the best lasting memories. Whether it’s a sparkle of the eye, a tear on the verge of falling or a particular smirk, it’s much easier to capture when I know a little about my subject.

I am my toughest critic. However, my ultimate goal is to give the client what they are looking for and exceed expectation. I’ve always said, “if you’re going to trust someone enough to photograph a special event and trust them to capture all the right moments, make sure they have a passion for their work”. Make sure they aren’t just doing it for the money. Money comes and goes. Memories are forever and moments only happen once.
